I have roughly 3 weeks to finish my ahsdjhaskjh jakshjkashajk THESIS but I'm not even halfway yet. Oh godddddddddddd I need a machine that'll keep my mind working for the longest time. huhuhuhu.

On the other hand, it seems that my classmates and I were so focused on our project that we didn't even bother to care about our other subjects. HAHA ok this is definitely not the idea of a good student. *cough cough*

early bird
POSTED ON Sunday 20 January 2013 AT 21:56 \\ 0 comments
I'm never really a morning person. I detest all activities in the morning and waking up early is my ultimate enemy. Though recently, I've been thinking a lot about time and time management. One of my friends, Joy, mentioned that if you want to get things done, you should wake up early and do it.
Since I've been meaning to do a lot of things for this year, might as well practice being early --in all aspects.

Fashion Dumpppp
POSTED ON Thursday 17 January 2013 AT 04:13 \\ 0 comments
Because I have been very lazy to do outfit shots, I settled for selcas instead.
Here's a photo dump of my recent outfits. *u* (photos from my iPhone)

Bayo top, Maldita shorts, Solemate flats, Burberry polo club watch & my panda iPhone case

top from Singapore, Forever21 jeans, Havaianas High flipflops, Aldo watch and accessories

Experimented on this outfit. Not really a fan of stripes but I just love the color of the top. Also wearing my fave accessory so far, a purple dreamcatcher necklace.

Bayo top, Dorothy Perkins jeans, Nine West flats, SM accessories belt, Aldo watch and accessories, custom-made dreamcatcher necklace

Mango top, cardigan from Korea, Penshoppe shorts, Converse sneakers, belt from Singapore

United Colors of Benetton top, Redhead shorts, cardigan from Korea, Havaianas High flipflops, Espada bag

My favorite outfit so far! I seriously wanted to shoot this using a decent camera but I was running late for a meeting and when I got to school, it started raining so I didn't really have the chance to take an outfit photo for this one. :/

H&M top, Dorothy Perkins jeans, Nine West flats, SM accessories belt, Aldo watch, accessories from Thailand

That's it for now. Gaaaah, I seriously need some decent outfit shots for my blog. Well, there's always a next time! Plus I'll surely be very busy this coming months until graduation. I still have a lot of stuff to do for the club, school paper and dun dun dun, THESIS!

On a side note, I'm not really a fan of bags. I'd rather splurge on good shoes and clothes rather than spend a fortune on a single bag. My my mom thinks otherwise. Lol.

The Cooking Chronicles: Pasta in Pesto Sauce
POSTED ON Saturday 12 January 2013 AT 07:02 \\ 1 comments

The Cooking Chronicles by The Stellar Wanderer is purely composed of her cooking experiments and escapades that turned out to be quite edible and well, kinda yummy.

And so the newest addition to my blog, The Cooking Chronicles debuts now.
I have a lot of frustrations ---singing, dancing, directing and COOKING. Yep, I'm definitely a frustrated cook. I was quite denuded to cooking back when I was a child. Almost all of my aunts and uncles are great at cooking especially my grandmother and growing up with them for almost 5 years kinda exposed me to its perks. As for my first recipe (naks kung mka recipe HAHAHAHA), Pasta in Pesto sauce, here's how I did it:

We had uncooked pasta and ham leftovers so I decided to use them before they go to waste. I sauteed one whole onion and a clove of garlic together with the ham.

As for the pesto sauce, I used one sachet of McCormick Pesto Sauce Mix (dissolved in 1/4 cup water together with 6 tablespoon of olive oil) and one pack of Nestle's All purpose cream to give it a creamy finish.

Mix them all together in low fire and add the cream when you're almost done. I added 3 triangles of Laughing Cow cheese and a lot of herbs and spices for a better smell and taste. And taaadaaaaaa~ my very own Pasta in Pesto Sauce! It looks yummy isn't it? My mom loved it so much and same goes for my cousins so it was finished on a whim.

It only took me about 15 mins to cook the sauce and about 20 mins for the pasta. Its very easy to make plus its delicious too! (well, that depends on your taste buds hehehe)

TIP: When you're pasta's almost ready, add about 3 tablespoon of olive oil so that it'll taste better when mixed with sauce.

So, that's it for my very first recipe in The Stellar Wanderer's Cooking Chronicles. Next to come: Maja Blanca.

Random.......thoughts.
POSTED ON Saturday 5 January 2013 AT 05:29 \\ 0 comments
2013 already began but until now, I still couldn't gasp that reality. I won't be making any new year's resolution because 1. its too overrated and 2. I don't think I can be able to do all of it. HAHAHA
Instead, I'll be sharing some thoughts for this year, thoughts that'll eventually became reality.

1. READ MORE. I'm no bookworm but I definitely love reading fictional/non-fictonal books, magazines and other reading materials. I want to be a wide-reader like Ms. Hannah, one of my most intelligent profs plus I do believe that reading will make you more intelligent and witty and will take you to greater heights. This will also help my research skills so as to complete my thesis before graduation.

2. WRITE MORE. My writing skills aren't that good too --it absolutely needs a lot of polishing both in grammar and vocabulary. But I do believe that to be better at something, you should practice and practice until you have mastered it and discover your own style during the process. Thus, I shall be writing more this year, anything and everything under the sun.

3. NO MORE PROCRASTINATION. Yes yes, I am the queen of all procrastinators, I work when it's almost the deadline, and I start and finish everything late. Procrastination will never do you good, believe me. It only caused me panic attacks and splitting headaches. I had been one ever since high school and now that college is almost over, its becoming a much needed necessity to change that bad habit of mine. Working in the corporate world is a tough challenge but that is something that I want for myself and in order to achieve it, I must say good bye to procrastination. (I reckon I'll be able to do this -_-)

4. BYE VICES. I've had enough of those alcohol-filled nights, non-stop partying and vices you can ever think of. I just want to savour life without having to worry about my health, about ruining my reputation because of partying hard and going home reeking in alcohol. As for this year, I will try my hardest to STOP drinking even if certain occasions call for it. I can still enjoy even without the alcohol, can I?

5. HELLO HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. Vegetables, vegetables and more vegetables. When I was a kid,  I hated anything green thats edible and so, I avoided it and consoled myself with meat. Apparently, red meat doesn't do you and your body any good, plus it only messes your system by increasing your cholesterol and fats. Now that I'm 20, I knew better and by better I mean green leafy vegetables and exercise will make you live longer. I've been eating a lot of vegetables lately and whenever I have time, I do jog or do taebo to keep me fit. I lost a lot of weight already but its not enough. I'm still far from my dream weight though so I guess embracing a healthier lifestyle will help me reach my goal asap.

2013 is a gonna be a great year, I can feel it and I want to believe it. That's it for now but I'll surely be blogging more about those random thoughts all through out the year. *u*

Happy Holidays!
POSTED ON AT 04:28 \\ 0 comments
Dundundun... Another late post from yours truly. IDK why but after the new year's celebration, everything just happened so fast that I was left in a daze. It also reminded me of my so-long-overdue thesis or senior's project, a requirement for my course, or better yet, that final hurdle before graduation. Will be blogging about that next time but for now, here's what I wore last new year's eve.

you can hype this look on LOOKBOOK

top & jeans both from Forever21

heels from Souldesire

For this look, I opted for a more mature feel. Crochet tops are so comfy plus they look elegant with exquisite patterns. As for my accessories, I didn't want to overpower my top so I decided to just put on a pair of gold earrings and a black bib necklace embellished with gold lining.

It's been a tough year but the past also made me a stronger and better person. For this 2013, I promised myself to always look on the brighter side of life and just be positive. Imperfections will always be around the corner and people will always have something to say --both good and bad, but you just gotta keep your head held high and face everyone and everything with unwavering faith and utmost courage.
