Nobody's perfect.

Mistakes are inevitable and yes, most of the time we regret it but actually the best thing to do is to move on and take it as a valuable lesson.
Okay so while I was attending mass earlier this morning, there was one lector who failed to read one of words in the gospel correctly. Usually, when things like that happen, I just continue reading the passage so that people wouldn't recognize that I actually made a mistake. But instead of doing so, the lector chuckled--and she was holding the mic. And what made it worst? The priest was beside her the whole time! It was so humiliating. After the mass, I saw her run to her parents, crying so hard and apologizing for what she did. I felt sorry for her but I know I can't to anything about it. I used to be a lector too (before I became severely busy with school work) so I seriously know how it feels to read in front of a huge crowd, listening intently to every word you say. I would get jitters and my palms would be soaking in sweat and sometimes my throat would dry up. LOL.
We can't really avoid those things but that must not stop us from trying again either. Remember, practice makes perfect. :D

2 mornings left and I'll be completing this year's Misa De Gallo. That also means there's only 2 days left before Christmas! Yayyyyy *happydance*
